I managed to hit yet another goal post, this time I did recover – though the video cut out right after the hit.
Drove around Missoula until I found a park without people, Fort Missoula has a nice little park with a walking path and some trees. I flew a couple batteries here …
No video, it was too dark. Also, people showed up to walk around the track thus preventing me from flying more than one battery.
Nothing fancy, just flying around on a really nice afternoon. Probably used about 4 battery packs, no major crashes.
Took the quad down to Lake Como, hoping there would be minimal people around. There were, but they still managed to find me.

Took the afternoon off to go fly at Sentinel HS. Tried some FPV but the sun was pretty low making it tough to see.
First time trying out the GPS functionality of the Pixhawk flight controller, it’s been really great so far!
A short cruise around the stronghold, managed to run into a tree. It’s a small yard.
